With a love of Thoroughbreds and a background in National Hunt Racing, at Wileq we just have to support The Thoroughbred Rehabilitation Centre.

The Thoroughbred Rehabilitation Centre is the original charity dedicated to the welfare, rehabilitation and re-homing of Thoroughbred
ex-racehorses in need. The TRC receives most of its horses from
post-racing homes where they have been bought by inexperienced
owners and where things have gone wrong. However, some come straight from trainers who are concerned their horse may end up in inappropriate hands if allowed on to the open market. The TRC has been rehabilitating and re-homing horses to appropriate loaners since 1991, and is regarded as a model of excellence in this work, with all horses remaining under the ownership and protection of the
TRC for life!

Redwings Horse Sanctuary was established in 1984 and has grown to be the largest, horse charity in
the UK working to save horses, ponies, donkeys and mules whose future would otherwise be bleak.
Their work has three main aims, rescue and rehabilitation, specialist sanctuary care, and prevention
through education, although the primary purpose is to provide and promote the welfare, protection
and care of equines that have suffered from maltreatment, neglect or poor circumstance. In a typical
year Redwings seeks to positively intervene in the lives of around 2,400 horses, ponies, donkeys
and mules.
